<text>MySpace was fun a couple of years ago but then everyone started advertising and stuff like crazy on it and it became ridiculous. I still check it out from time to time... I think for the personal friends thing, Facebook kind of killed this site.</text>

<text>The best torrent app out there. I just wish that when that pop up window opens that lets you check off what files you would like to download in the torret had a 'de-select all' checkmark/button. Therea re some torrents with hundreds of files and when I only want one, have to go through and uncheck the whole list individually... man that is a pain! Other than that one small gripe it's fantastic!</text>

<description>Transmission has been built from the ground up to be a lightweight, yet powerful BitTorrent client. Its simple, intuitive interface is designed to integrate tightly with whatever computing environment you choose to use. Transmission strikes a balance between providing useful functionality without feature bloat. Furthermore, it is free for anyone to use or modify.</description>

Finds the most relevant results... way more than any other. I really like the link up top for Google images too!</text>

<description>Google search is the most used search engine on the web. Google receives several hundred million queries each day through its various services. Besides the main search engine feature of searching for text, the search engine can also be used as a calculator, base, unit and currency converter, dictionary and many other useful tools. Google search was originally developed by Larry Page and Sergey Brin in 1997.

Google's search algorithm uses a patented system called PageRank to help rank web pages that match a given search string. The PageRank algorithm computes a recursive score for web pages, based on the weighted sum of the PageRanks of the pages linking to them. The PageRank derives from human-generated links, and is thought to correlate well with human concepts of importance. The exact percentage of the total of web pages that Google indexes is not known, as it is very hard to actually calculate.</description>

<text>Comicvine is a great site to check out everything comics related. The message boards are all messed up though, I find it difficult to keep track of them and browse around. As for individual comic information and the lists you can create I love it. Some features that would be nice are; automatic personalize email of comics you are interested in as a pull list that is printable, more timely updated new comics information, a profile database that you can place a check by 'read' along with your ratings that is easily manageable in your profile so you can review all the comics you've read, by date, etc.

While it isn't the all-in-one comics site ... yet... it's still one of the best.</text>

<description>Comic Vine is a structured wiki for comics. It aims to accurately document the entire world of comics: all the editions, super heroes, teams, and powers. Its &#8216;structure&#8217; comes from a structure much like a regular database (as opposed to flat wikipedia pages). Users are able to edit all of the pages. For example, users can add powers to Superman. Anonymous edits are allowed, but logged in users earn points to later make edits instantly applied to the database. Changes are kept in a moderation queue until they are approved by admins, which users can keep watch on until their changes are approved.</description>

<text>GimmeSomeTune is an almost perfect application. I am a Last.fm addict, have a mac so therefore use iTunes a ton too. This adds lyrics and cover art to all my songs meta data in iTunes automatically which is something I've been wanting for a long time. However, one big missing feature is its inability to scrobble tracks synched from an iPod. I think I will use this sparingly when I wish to ensure lyrics and artwork are attached to my files, but will need to ensure it is closed down and another application such as iScrobbler is running before syncing my iPod with iTunes. Hopefully they build that feature in.</text>
