The Community Patch Team is a gathering of technically gifted players of the computer game "Gothic". In June 2007, after the third part of the successful games series reached the market in a condition, with which many gamers were very disappointed, the Assistant Community Manager of the JoWooD fanbase Glockenbeat made a call to start improving the game: the goal was to build a team together from members of the community, who at this point already were trying to improve the game on their own accord, to support them in this effort.

Bing is the name of Microsoft's web search engine, and it is designed to be a "decision engine" which is a different approach to compete with traditional search industry leaders Google and Yahoo!. Bing is accessible through "Bing.com" and other Microsoft products such as Windows Live, MSN, Internet Explorer.

Bing offers some innovative features, such as the ability to view website information straight from the search result page (instead of clicking through results one by one) and the infinite scroll on image search result, meaning no "next page" is required to click when dealing with very large amount of visual results.

Gothic 3 is a fantasy-themed role-playing game for Windows from German game developer Piranha Bytes. It is the sequel to Gothic 2. Although widely available in English, the native release of the game is German. The game was released throughout the European Union on October 13, 2006 and is currently available throughout North America, after the release date of November 20, 2006. Although the US version is rated T (for teens), the version released in North America carries exactly the same gameplay content as those released internationally. The North American release incorporates two patches that appeared after the initial UK edition.

Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 24.07% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of October 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer, which is the factory default browser on all Windows computers.

In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.

To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.

Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include Adblock Plus, Video DownloadHelper, NoScript, Personas, FlashGot, and Greasemonkey, along with many others.

Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported as of November 2009, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems.

Its current stable release branch is version 3.5, first released on June 30th, 2009. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.
