<text>I don't manage to run WordBiz on linux. After installing it and launching java -jar wordbiz.jar, I have the screen where I should select the language, but this screen hangs. No reaction to mouse or keyboard. Unfortunately, the authors of the software politely say they haven't a chance to debug on Mac or Linux platform, so, I can't expect them to fix the issue.</text>

<text>I'm just trying OpenOffice (2.4), because it's opensource. Opening a spreadsheet I just downloaded from Gmail, the sheet is read-only, no problem, but while it's read-only, I can't even change the width of columns to see what's behind this ###. For me, it's a real bug. Not so good.</text>

<text>A must for windows users who hate mice. I also use it as replacement for calc for speed calculations. Just type =73*14 then Enter and it shows the result. (I see myself calculating a lot for a check digit something like n modulo 7, so, I just hit following keys <Win+Q>=1545786<Space>Mod<Space>7<Enter>, extremely quick to see the result.</text>

SlickRun is a free floating command line utility for Windows. SlickRun gives you almost instant access to any program or website. SlickRun allows you to create command aliases (known as MagicWords), so C:\Program Files\Outlook Express\msimn.exe becomes MAIL.

Enter a web URL into SlickRun and it will launch your browser and navigate to the specified address. Run multiple programs in a few keystrokes, jot a note, look up a definition... SlickRun is the most natural way to interact with your computer.
