<text>An excellent space sim, made by Dr Martin Schweiger, which simulates real, Newtonian physics, so getting to (for example) the International Space Station is done exactly how the guys and gals at NASA get there. Take that, add a HUGE range of mods (available at OrbitHangar.com, amongst other places) and a great online community, and you've got the best free space sim. Ever.</text>

<text>Perhaps one of the best Source games out. Relies heavily on teamwork, which only makes it better. Unfortunately, Valve didn't put bots in this one, but that's only a small loss.</text>

Day of Defeat: Source is a conversion of Day of Defeat, the World War II online shooter that was originally developed as a free mod for Half-Life. Built on the Source engine and distributed through Steam, Day of Defeat: Source offers team-based game play with scenarios inspired by historical World War II battles. It was the first Source game to incorporate high dynamic range (HDR) rendering, predating the official HDR technical demo, Half-Life 2: Lost Coast.

Counter-Strike: Source (also known as CS or simply CS:S) is a multiplayer, team-based tactical first-person shooter video game, developed by Valve and Turtle Rock Studios. It is a remake of Counter-Strike, the 1999 modification of Half-Life. Built on the Source engine, the game was released in 2004 along with Half-Life 2. As of 28 February 2008, the game is the most played Half-Life 2 mod, according to GameSpy.

As in the original version, Counter-Strike: Source games pit a team of counter-terrorists against a team of terrorists in a series of rounds. Each round is won by either completing a mission (such as detonating a bomb or rescuing hostages) or by eliminating all members of the opposing team. Unlike Half-Life: Source, the game is totally a remake from the ground-up instead of being a port.

FeedReader is software that allows you to read your
RSS and XML syndicated news. Some websites have a RSS or
XML
address that show the last notices or news, FeedReader is like this application.
In this way from unique software and without opening different websites you can look the last news and access to what you
need. It’s fast, easy and a friendly tool. To read this type of syndicate notices you will get a list of your preferred sites and content of the same just with one click. If you access one of them, on the other frame you will be able to navigate through the website from where the notice is loaded.
Its function is very simple but more than useful; you can add the selected RSS from blogs and other websites to keep
yourself informed. It does not affect the performance of the system, it allows you to minimize the software into the taskbar, and when the reader receives any update from the site a pop-up will be displayed informing you about the update (windows live messenger pop-up style).

Free Download Manager is a powerful open-source downloading application that has millions of loyal users all over the world. It lets you download files or whole web sites from any remote server via HTTP, HTTPS, FTP and BitTorrent up to 6 times faster, even when downloading from slow sites. FDM accelerates downloads by splitting files into sections and then downloading them simultaneously. As a result download speed increases up to 600%, or even more!

New features include BitTorrent support, built-in upload manager that makes it possible to upload files easily to share them with other people, and the ability to download flash video from video sites, such as Youtube, MySpace videos, Dailymotion, Yahoo, etc. After flash video download is complete, you can convert it to another video format, such as simple AVI, DivX, MPEG4 and more.

The list of FDM features includes integration with the most popular browsers (Internet Explorer, Opera, Mozilla and FireFox), resuming broken downloads, simultaneous downloading from several mirrors, adjusting traffic usage, enhanced audio/video files support, ZIP files preview, browsing web and FTP folders, and more.

FDM now also offers more flexibility with the new option of remote control (it lets users control FDM remotely, via the Internet). FDM also allows creating a portable version which makes it possible to enjoy the software on every computer without another installation.

Free Download Manager is the first social download manager inspired by Web 2.0 technologies. It protects you from malicious or useless downloads as it lets you read other users opinions about a downloaded file right from the download window. If the file contains spyware or adware, FDM will alert you before the download is started. You can also review any of your downloaded files and inform other users.

WhatPulse is a cross-platform (Windows, Mac, and Linux) key counting program which monitors the number of keystrokes and mouse clicks, and more recently the distance that the mouse (or finger) moves, that a user makes over a period of time.

Its developers claim that is not spyware, as it does not record the keys that are pressed (software that does this is called a 'keylogger'), but instead only measures the number of times that keys are pressed.

In this way, one can see the number of keystrokes, mouse clicks, and miles the mouse (or finger) has moved over a period of time.
