<text>Windows Update (see my other post for a full temper-tantrum) bugs me every couple of days with &quot;updates&quot; to the virus definitions. I wouldn't care so much, except that when WU announces this, I can count on system performance rapidly degrading until I finally cave, install it, and reboot. I'm seriously questioning the value of continuing to run this. I have Spybot S&amp;D, which should be enough.</text>

<text>I have mixed feelings on this. The internal workings of 2007 are better than 2003, but in many ways 2003 was more useful. Outlook has a number of nice features, but they are generally clunky and don't work out well in the long run when trying to manage your tasks. I use a GTD like system for my tasks, and I have to use another tool (The Trog Bar) to make it work out right, the lists in Outlook are just to random and disjointed to effectively handle my tasks.</text>

<description>Microsoft Outlook or Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft, and is part of the Microsoft Office suite.

Although often used mainly as an e-mail application, it also provides a calendar, task and contact management, note taking, a journal and web browsing.

It can be used as a stand-alone application, but can also operate in conjunction with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server to provide enhanced functions for multiple users in an organization, such as shared mailboxes and calendars, Exchange public folders, Sharepoint lists and meeting time allocation. </description>

<text>!@#@&amp;*%!!!!! Blasted software thinks it knows better than me. I can't tell you how many times I've come back to my computer in the morning just to find that this &quot;indespensible tool&quot; has rebooted it for me EVEN THOUGH I HAD A DOZEN APPS RUNNING AT THE TIME!!!!! (Thank heaven for Firefox session recovery.) And there is NO way around it, unless you are willing to forgo the automatic updates (which are more or less announcements to hackers of the holes they can exploit on computers that aren't updated yet, making it both a must have, and a must not have.) I asked MS to do SOMETHING about this once. Little surprise, they are in denial that it is even a problem.</text>

ClipMate has functions to combine, edit, and manage your clipboard data. It can also print, re-format, and even spell-check. It also has a multi-monitor screen capture, and has features for sharing clips among multiple PCs.</description>
