<text>Great software - seriously consider if you repeatedly install the supported OS's - much more powerful than an answerfile and highly customizable. Also useful to slipstream in service packs/updates/drivers etc for the occasional spring clean/re-format.</text>

<text>Although there are many better programs that do many things better than media centre, for some people it will cover all their needs. VLC, iTunes and their ilk are certainly better in their intended uses but this does have the advantage of having it all in the one place. Like many others I find it most useful for recording and watching TV through the XBOX 360 Extender, not best for streaming movies over your network that way, which is best left to WMP.
It's not groundbreaking, but it's good, it works and for many will be just fine.</text>

If you feel the need to let everyone know the exciting and inate details of your day this is for you. If not, then perhaps it not for you. Does what it does well. IM and Facebook/MySpace may offer more features but Twitter was designed to exactly what it does.</text>

<description>Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to publish updates (known as tweets) and read other users' updates (also known as tweets).

Twitter now offers 'lists' which allow you to group your followers and/or non-followers into different lists (public or private), so perhaps subjects include family, friends, co-workers, etc.

This is especially useful if you are following thousands of people, and want to see just a certain amount of peoples' tweets without unfollowing thousands of people, or constantly checking various profiles for new updates.</description>

<text>Amazing guitar amp modelling software. Very good and intuitive interface and although quite expensive for the full hardware/software package it really is a bargain when priced against the hardware it emulates. Highly recommended to avid guitarists although if you're more of a hobbyist something such as Amplitube 2 LE which is bundled free with a lot of music equipment may suit you just fine until you feel the need to upgrade.</text>

<description>Gmail, officially Google Mail in Germany and the United Kingdom, is a free POP3 and IMAP webmail service provided by Google. On April 1, 2004 the product began as an invitation-only beta release. On February 7, 2007 the beta version was opened to the general public. With an initial storage capacity of 1 GB (and growing, now over 7 GB), it drastically increased the standard for free storage.
Today it's also possible to visit the site trough: http://www.gmail.com, although it redirects still to mail.google.com

It also can be used as a SaaS-webmail for your domain with help of Google Apps.</description>

<description>Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 24.07% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of October 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer, which is the factory default browser on all Windows computers.

In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.

To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.

Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include Adblock Plus, Video DownloadHelper, NoScript, Personas, FlashGot, and Greasemonkey, along with many others.

Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported as of November 2009, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems.

Its current stable release branch is version 3.5, first released on June 30th, 2009. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.</description>
