<text>I never liked Windows Media Player before, there is no way of changing the player to your needs; no changing of most used keys etc.
But i have been playing with a lot of built in tools in Windows 7 and found Windows Media Player 12 very neet. Also i never realy liked the Library Funcion before, but since there latest buld i got to appreciate it more and more. It still no competion to music player like Winamp but it is definitly taking over my video players like GOM & WMP Classic.
It even plays HD files smooth out-of-the-box where other players need some tweaking to get the files running smoothly</text>

Basically it does the same thing as you can remove devices from Device Manager, but the user interface is much friendly as compatible with the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the notification area and it is much safer as it prevents the drive being removed if the drive is in use. With this software, you can use SATA/eSATA drives as even better removable drives than USB/IEEE1394 drives.

Media Player Classic is a compact free software media player for Microsoft Windows. The application has a similar look and feel to the old light-weight Windows Media Player 6.4. Underneath, however, it is a completely different application which has all the options and features one might expect from a modern media player.

This player is capable of VCD, SVCD and DVD playback, without the need to install any additional software or codecs. Media Player Classic has built-in codecs for MPEG-2 video with support for subtitles and codecs for LPCM, MP2, AC3 and DTS audio. It also contains an improved MPEG splitter that supports subtitles on SVCDs and supports direct playback of VCDs and SVCDs using its VCD/SVCD/XCD Reader. On October 30, 2005 Gabest added *.mp4 and MPEG-4 Timed Text support. An AAC decoding filter has been present in MPC for a while, which makes MPC suitable for AAC playback in mp4.

Media Player Classic is primarily based on the DirectShow architecture, and therefore automatically uses installed DirectShow decoding filters. For instance, after the open source DirectShow decoding filter ffdshow has been installed, fast and high quality decoding and postprocessing of the DivX, Xvid, H.264 and Flash Video formats is available in MPC.

In addition to DirectShow, MPC can also use the QuickTime and the RealPlayer architectures (if installed on the computer) to play their native files.

<text>You are right about the 5 star's for Price/value. But in a world where prettymuch everything comes in a freeware edition you have to look closer to it before giving out 5 stars.

"just because it's free" issen't a valid reason to gave the max to it. In this case 5 stars.

But this review is based on a first look at Safari, I will test it for some time and perhaps i will even like it but for now it did not amuse me that much like other browsers did, the minute i used them</text>

OrangeNote™ is a free WPF-based text clipping manager for Windows that allows you to store an unlimited number of fully-indexed text clippings in its database and pull them up with a quick full-text search, or assign global hotkeys to clippings and paste them into any program. It also features a history of all clipboard activity so you can paste previously-copied texts and never lose something on the clipboard again.

There is also a pro version that allows you to sync notes remotely across multiple copies of the program, but the free version is fully functional for local use.
