<text>I find it hilarious that I'm the weekly top user of FurAffinity. :P

Then again, there's plenty to look at there that I always have a couple of tabs open to it. Some of it is good, some of it is bad, and some of it defies the laws of everything you know.

I'd be happy if there were a few UI changes made to make FA a little more usable, but otherwise, it's not bad. :)</text>

Fur Affinity, also known as FA, is the furry fandom's largest online community with focus on the promotion of art, music, stories and more. The site was created by Alkora as an alternative to various art community sites such as SheezyArt and deviantART, promoting itself by allowing artistic freedom of expression regardless of content rating.

Omegle is a chat service on the Internet and the iPhone/iPod Touch that lets you meet and chat with totally random people. It is similar to GettingRandom and Iddin.

When you use Omegle, it picks another user at random and lets you have a one-on-one chat with each other. Chats are completely anonymous, although there is nothing to stop you from revealing personal details if you like.

It is commonly used for nothing but trolling, but there are also serious and friendly chats as well.

<text>EVE has been one of those games that has managed to suck me in.

It's very nerd-friendly, with lots of numbers, as well as an economy that goes above and beyond to have some depth to it. Knowing I can travel a system over and get better bang for my buck on parts or sales makes the game worth it.

The game has successfully replaced (or at least supplemented) my only other MMO, Anarchy Online.</text>

Eve Online is a player-driven persistent-world massively multiplayer online game set in a science fiction space setting. Players pilot customizable ships through a universe comprising over five thousand solar systems. Most solar systems are connected to one or more other solar systems by means of jump gates. The solar systems can contain several entities including but not limited to: moons, planets, stations, asteroid belts and complexes.

Players of Eve Online are able to participate in any number of in-game professions and activities, including mining, manufacturing, trade and combat (both player versus environment and player versus player). The range of activities available to the player is facilitated by a character advancement system based upon training skills in real time, even while not logged in to the game.

It is developed and maintained by the Icelandic company CCP Games. First released in North America and Europe in May 2003, it was published from May to December 2003 by Simon & Schuster Interactive, after which CCP purchased the rights back and began to self-publish via a digital distribution scheme. On January 22, 2008 it was announced that Eve will be distributed via Steam. The current version of Eve Online is dubbed Apocrypha, released on March 10 2009.

<text>This is my media player of choice. Lightweight, easy enough to use, no need to hunt down anything, and great for testing issues with hardware remotely.

I've used this when customers cried, "My DVD drive is broken: It won't play a DVD!" -- Without having to hunt down an expensive codec for Windows Media Player, I can prove that it's a software issue and help them relax.

This is something I'd recommend to anyone for media playback, when combined with an efficient codec pack such as the CCCP Project.</text>

Media Player Classic is a compact free software media player for Microsoft Windows. The application has a similar look and feel to the old light-weight Windows Media Player 6.4. Underneath, however, it is a completely different application which has all the options and features one might expect from a modern media player.

This player is capable of VCD, SVCD and DVD playback, without the need to install any additional software or codecs. Media Player Classic has built-in codecs for MPEG-2 video with support for subtitles and codecs for LPCM, MP2, AC3 and DTS audio. It also contains an improved MPEG splitter that supports subtitles on SVCDs and supports direct playback of VCDs and SVCDs using its VCD/SVCD/XCD Reader. On October 30, 2005 Gabest added *.mp4 and MPEG-4 Timed Text support. An AAC decoding filter has been present in MPC for a while, which makes MPC suitable for AAC playback in mp4.

Media Player Classic is primarily based on the DirectShow architecture, and therefore automatically uses installed DirectShow decoding filters. For instance, after the open source DirectShow decoding filter ffdshow has been installed, fast and high quality decoding and postprocessing of the DivX, Xvid, H.264 and Flash Video formats is available in MPC.

In addition to DirectShow, MPC can also use the QuickTime and the RealPlayer architectures (if installed on the computer) to play their native files.

<text>I wanted to love you, Songbird, I really did.
I have a problem with a media player that crashes a lot.

Songbird is neat, but for me, it has too many features that I don't really need. I really don't have much need for a music player that can play Youtube videos.
I do have a need for a music player that can play every single format that I currently listen to. Songbird doesn't meet that need, but it can meet it if people write extensions for the various esoteric formats (SPC, PSF, USF, ADX are four examples).

Maybe I'll try again when Songbird makes it to 1.0.</text>

<text>This is one of the best audio players I've ever laid hands on, and have honestly sworn off Winamp because of this years ago.

Once you've configured it, and added in any components that you might want or need (columns UI comes to mind), it's one of those players that you fall in love with. Tabbed playlists, once argued, are quite loved, since I can swap from game music to music I bought last month, to listening to streams, and not have to go playlist file juggling.

The only performance bump I've really had is when a component starts chewing up your config, and eats your (carefully calibrated) playlists. Beyond that, it's fun times. Really. :)</text>

Foobar2000 is a freeware audio player for Windows developed by Peter Pawlowski, a former freelance contractor for Nullsoft.
Featuring a minimalist interface, it also boasts many features for metadata support and high-quality audio output. The theoretical maximum sampling rate and bit depth for audio output are both far in excess of the capacities of even professional-grade audio equipment. To maximize the audio fidelity of consumer-grade equipment, it provides noise shaping and dithering.

It features a number of official and third-party components which add many additional features. While the core is closed source, the author provides an extensive SDK under the BSD license. Since version 0.9, foobar2000 supports Windows 2000 and later releases only.

Features: audio formats supported natively: MP1, MP2, MP3, MP4, MPC, AAC, Ogg Vorbis, FLAC / Ogg FLAC, WavPack, WAV, AIFF, AU, SND, CDDA, WMA; more audio formats supported through optional components, official or third-party; full unicode support; customizable user interface layout (new in version 0.9.5); advanced tagging capabilities; support for ripping Audio CDs as well as transcoding all supported audio formats using the Converter component; ReplayGain support - both playback and calculation; customizable keyboard shortcuts; open component architecture allowing third-party developers to extend functionality of the player.

With a few simple mouse clicks you'll be ready to create & manipulate PSP (UMD) compliant ISO images. UMDGen v4.00 changes:
    * New layout
    * UMDGen now displays information from UPDATEPARAM.SFO as well as PSP_GAMEPARAM.SFO
    * Optimize button added. This function automatically detects and resizes dummy data, removed un-needed padding and dummies the contents of the UPDATE folder (if detected)
    * Non-PSP standard images can be forced to be read by the user. Upon detection, UMDGen will let you know the image is non-standard and you can choose whether to continue and have UMDGen attempt to read it - *NOTE* depending on the individual image, this could cause UMDGen to close if it encounters data it isn't expecting - but the general rule is if the PSP can read it then presume UMDGen can too.
    * UMD_DATA.BIN file generator. If your compilation is missing this file then UMDGen gives you the oppertunity to create a new one.
    * Ability to change "PSP_SYSTEM_VER" in PARAM.SFO to different firmware version. (Use +/- key while version is selected)
    * 'Drop Open' images re-introduced due to a lot of requests to re-add it to UMDGen.
    * Complete CSO + DAX support. You can now edit compressed images the same as uncompressed images. Dax support now includes the use of Non-Compressed areas feature.
    * 'Ezip' format removed. We didn't think it was worth keeping this format since it only had very limited support anyway.
    * 'Dummy File' option added as requested by many users.
    * v3.50 still had trouble with one or two problem images. A lot of code to do with the reading/writing process has been restructured and these problems should now be fixed.
