<text>A rather annoying messenger programme. Heavy on your system, failing smileys, an outdated interface.

It's free... and that's about it.</text>

    <text>An easy-to-use text editor, great for a quick-look at (source)code.

Free, reliable, but without any features (then again, notepad doesn't NEED features. It just is... &quot;as is&quot;</text>

<text>With the newest version of Live! Messenger, Microsoft showed that Messaging can in fact be fun. And that's about it. With the ever-lasting flood of *new features*, there is something in it for everyone, but there is simply too much to use in there.

If you want a decent messaging programme that's known worldwide and that looks fancy, try MSN.

If you want a messaging programme that does not crash, works all the time, does not nag about your unfinished profile / people that invite you to this and that, look for another messenger.</text>

<description>Windows Live Messenger, commonly referred to by the previous names of MSN Messenger or MSN for short, is an advertisement-supported instant messaging client for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 and Windows Mobile, first released on July 22, 1999 by Microsoft. <text>Second Life can be more than just a game. It features a complete digital world, free to be shaped to your thoughts and ideas. Second Life is free, but uses a currency known as the Lindendollar (L$). This currency can be earned by selling your home-made items to other residents, or by taking up one of the various jobs. You can roleplay, explore, chat, use voice, or just simply kick back in a chair and enjoy one of the many musicstreams. The more creative users can build anything from jewelry up to complete castles, or script various objects to allow interaction.

Overall Second Life is a good way to spend some free time. The menu's and interface are easy to use. The bad side about Second Life is that it is on-line, and when it gets busy where you're at, it can be (very) laggy. Also, to see everything in full-detail with a decent framerate, you need a decent computer with a good graphics card.

Personal overall score: 8.0 out of 10</text>
