Great program. I just upgraded from 1.4 to 2.0. Anyone know what th...
I remember the old Norton Cmd. Did you ever use the (better) clone Volkov Commander?:

It is written in pure assembler.
Still only for DOS.
TC was the 1st NC clone for Windows, as you will know. Yes, I really like the unpolished look of it... ;)
Well, thanks for being so honest. I will have another look at TC. After all, it was the first Windows "commander" I used after using the DOS Norton Commander.
Hi John,
Free Commander and Total Commander seem to do almost the same. If you haven't used TC for, say, a few years, then check it out. It's better than ever. And it has add-ons too.
I once tried out FC and it certainly was nice. But I use the button panel(s) of TC heavily, so I couldn't do without TC, which I BTW had payed for a long time ago anyway. ;)
Now it is proven that 2 of us has some sense of humour. ;)
Hope everything is fine in Holland.
