I'm not sure what Fireworks is actually intended for, I use it for creating images and such and I've never actually learned more than just what I've taught myself. I used it for graphics and menus on genteltouch.com and I've used it to create, manipulate, or enhance images on my blogs, I also go between Gimp 2.0 and Fireworks, I'll start an image in Fireworks and do a lot with it there, but then when I want to do a brush, I save it and open it in Gimp because I can use photoshop brushes there. The backgrounds on my blogs are not my work, they're from thecutestblogontheblock.com. But the headers and other stuff are. onwingsofpigs.blogspot.com and smalltowncelebrity.blogspot.com
