<text>Well I really like Delphi, have used it for a long time and always thought it was superior to the likes of Visual Basic, but it did loose its way a bit.
Anyhow, it's a solid IDE, very good VCL, pretty decent compiler, and all the bits and pieces you could want from a modern programming language.
And you get C++ Builder too, of course, which I don't really use but seems pretty good too.</text>

Adobe Photoshop Elements is the consumer version of the Adobe Photoshop raster image editing product, sold at a fraction (roughly 1/6th) of the cost of the professional product or bundled with related hardware such as scanners and digital cameras.

Originally introduced alongside Photoshop version 7, Photoshop Elements targets photography enthusiasts and thus lacks many features that make it useful in a proper print production environment. For example, Photoshop Elements cannot export files in the CMYK color mode, supports a simplified color management system, and excludes detailed soft-proofing. It also either eliminates completely or offers simplified versions of some of the more powerful plug-ins, along with a number of features aimed at non-experts (such as removing the red-eye effect or changing the skin tone in a picture). An example of a redesigned feature would be the Variations correction dialog. Some versions can, however, open, edit, and save PDFs.

<text>for anyone wanting a cheap (much cheaper than Adobe's Flash) and easy, Flash creation tool, Swish is very good. It offers all of the basic features you need to create decent flash objects, comes with loads of samples, is scriptable. While it isn't good enough for creating big, complex flash websites, if you want an easy solution for creating small-scale flash objects, then it is a good value and straight-forward piece of software.

SWISH Max works similarly to Adobe Flash, in particular due its use of objects, vector graphics, keyframes and scripting. Its main advantage compared to Flash is its large number of automated effects and transitions, which make building certain Flash elements such as buttons, advanced transition effects and interactive Flash sites easier, and the fact of it being more lightweight as a program. However it lacks certain features as well as the general-purpose flexibility of the Adobe Flash suite, which it complements rather than substitutes. A major drawback is its inability to open or save .FLA files, which limits exchanges between the two programs to final .swf files, again emphasizing their complementary nature.
