<text>The price tag at $30 is, in my opinion, very high in the U.S., relative to other games and their prices. It's $30 for a multiplayer-only game at a steep learning curve where my experience is very polarized and half-&amp;-half: what I mean by this is, half the time, I have awesome fun games, and the other half of the time, I have horrible grueling games. the DotA formula is inherently flawed in that if you start losing in the first couple minutes, your probability of losing the whole game skyrockets. There are very rarely turnarounds. On the other hand, take Team Fortress 2: a multiplayer-only game for just $20, that has a much more shallow (but still difficult) learning curve, and I have a lot of fun whether I lose or win - although of course, It's more fun if I win.

Don't get me wrong: I love HoN, I have played hundreds of hours of it already, and it's a great game. But I stand by the opinion that it's not worth $30 relative to the cost of other games here.</text>

<description>A DotA successor with an independant engine and a brand new list of community features to modernize the online multiplayer experience. It's the DotA gameplay formula with some new Hero characters, stat tracking and replays, buddy lists and clans, matchmaking and ranking system, and more. It's currently (2009-October) in a small closed beta, but open beta is soon to come. Currently, closed beta members can purchase a full account for $30, because the game will not be free upon release.</description>

<text>This is a great spiritual successor to Diablo. To be honest, in today's world, this game's feature set isn't up to par, without any online capability nor even LAN multiplayer. That is the only true let down - at $20, the game has a solid ever-changing single player experience that is easy to jump into and compelling to keep playing.</text>

<description>Torchlight is an action role-playing game developed by Runic Games. The game was released for Windows on October 27, 2009. A port for Mac OSX will be released subsequent to the Windows version.

The fantasy-themed game is set in the fictional town of Torchlight and the expansive caverns and dungeons nearby, which adventurers explore to collect valuable loot and battle hordes of monsters.

Development of the game is led by Travis Baldree, designer of Fate, and Max Schaefer and Erich Schaefer, co-designers of Diablo and Diablo II, joined by the team that developed Mythos.

Torchlight is available for direct digital download and is on sale on the Steam platform only. An editor will soon be released, completely free, for creating mods and custom content can be imported.</description>

<text>This game is a fantastic successor to DotA.
Its got brilliant graphics which look fantastic, but admittedly are disorienting to new players.
The interface is simply perfect. It's organized, usable, non-bloated.
The price at $30 is high in my opinion- I'd buy it if it were 20, and I think it should be 15. But seeing as I'm in the closed beta and it's free for now, I'm happy :).</text>

<description>Steamstats is a program that allows you to idle servers for item drops without having the game open on your computer. Basically, it simulates idling a server, so you don't actually open the game and manually join.

As of September 2, 2009, this program is no longer useful, as it is regarded and detected by Valve as a cheat program.</description>

<text>UT3 is Unreal Tournament. If you know how UT's go, then you know how good this game is. If you don't, then you should definitely check it out. Not for more casual FPS players, the online play is intense and very fast paced. It makes shooters like Counter Strike look turn based.</text>

<description>Unreal Tournament III (UT3) is a first-person shooter video game and the next installment of the Unreal series after Unreal Tournament 2004. It is being developed by Epic Games, to be published by Midway Games in November 2007 for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux, and sometime during 2008 for the Xbox 360. The PlayStation 3 version is likely to be released early in 2008, although the developers are still aiming for a release towards the end of 2007.</description>

<text>Probably my my best experience playing an MMORPG ever. The most fun, the most addicting, and, the best price! No subscription fees. Deserves more than five stars for Price / Value. The interface is just perfect. The game runs amazingly, with great graphics - in fact, I have computers which can run Guild Wars on maximum settings and cannot run World of Warcraft on minimum settings. Patching is realtime, streamline, and instantaneous - every time you load a new area, you'll load the patches there before you even get there.
Simply the best.</text>
