Times is a new unique and innovative newsreader for Mac OS X Leopard. By rethinking the way you read news, they've engineered what they found would be the best possible news experience straight from the ground up.

Instead of treating news like email (as most RSS readers do), Times presents you with headlines and photos from a variety of sources all in one place, letting you more easily discover the news you want to read. Like your own personal newspaper, you can put feeds into separate areas, create pages for different subjects, and more.

<text>Great RSS Reader. Synchronisation works much better than Netnewswire and the iphone client is much faster that Netnewswire. I am using Shrook between 2 Macs and my iPhone and it works very well. Only improvement for me would be for the mac client to allow me to stay within the client for browsing not just the linked page. I think the iPhone client is what really makes shrook great it really is nice and it is fast.</text>

<text>Agree that it nags at first but this is one great app. This prevented my mac from being hacked when i had my firewall turned off by accident. I was prompted to authorise a ftp connection when none should have been happening and found someone had broken into my system and was trying to install a hacking tool. Brilliant!</text>

Little Snitch tells you when a program tries to send info to the internet. If you do not like the idea of information possibly being gathered from your computer and being sent to who-knows-where for who-knows-what, Little Snitch helps. When an application tries to establish a network connection, Little Snitch intercepts the attempt and brings up an alert panel giving you all the connection details including the name of the application, which initiated the connection. You either choose to allow the connection, to deny it or to add a permanent rule for similar future connections.

Evernote is a software application that allows users to capture information of various types, including text notes, mobile phone snapshots, printed and handwritten text within images, web clips, and digital ink. All data added to Evernote are run through a series of recognizers that make any text within the various note formats searchable. The application uses a continuous "roll of paper" metaphor for its user interface. Additionally, users may create folders, categories, and notebooks.

<text>Great little app that changes your desktop wallpaper at regular intervals. Has a few features that the option within Mac OS X does not such as a hotkey to change the desktop wallpaper immediately. Also has more effects when changing the wallpaper which is nice. The app is simple and does what it says and does more than the system option.</text>
