CrossLoop simplifies the process of securely working with friends located in different physical locations and across different network environments. CrossLoop enables you to see the screen and control the mouse and keyboard on a remote computer. It is as if you are working side by side at the same PC.

<text>I actually use Crossloop based on tightvnc. Crossloop is the easiest way to get remote assess to another pc. Its meant for tech support and I use it to help my mom about 600 miles away and she has slow dsl and it ran great. I little lag but to be expected. Just what I needed for my tech support need

TightVNC is a free remote control software package derived from the popular VNC software. With TightVNC, you can see the desktop of a remote machine and control it with your local mouse and keyboard, just like you would do it sitting in the front of that computer.

<text>A great program! It uses your extra cpu cycle to help understand protein folding and misfolding which causes many sicknesses such as cancer. It adds a little to your power bill. Maybe $60 a year but whats $5 a month to help cure people.</text>

Folding@home (sometimes abbreviated as FAH or F@h) is a distributed computing (DC) project designed to perform computationally intensive simulations of protein folding and other molecular dynamics (MD). It was launched on October 1, 2000, and is currently managed by the Pande Group, within Stanford University's chemistry department, under the supervision of Professor Vijay Pande. Folding@home is the most powerful distributed computing cluster in the world, according to Guinness, and one of the world's largest distributed computing projects. The goal of the project is "to understand protein folding, misfolding, and related diseases."

<text>Great program if your using or upgrading to a seagate or maxtor hard drive. It takes a long time (6 1/2 hours for 80GBs of data but it works like a charm. I now have a 160 drive with 80 free instead of a full drivew and everything is just the way it was. No windows reinstall. The only thing different is the amout of space in my C drive!!</text>
