<text>Currently in closed beta, this game attempts to combine aspects of MMORPG and FPS titles (and fails in my opinion). There are a handful of districts that serve as lobbies where you can chat, purchase weapons and skills, craft items, maintain a gang/clan/guild, and queue you or your group for instances of PvP shooter-style combat that support up to 8 players per team. The combat is unfairly balanced with weapons such as rocket launchers and grenade launchers and combat instances are comprised of players of all levels as opposed to grouping players of similar levels together. What's more is this game is set to go retail only two months after the beginning of Closed Beta, too soon to address all of the problems this game has. Information on the releases suggest the game must be purchased from a retailer before it can be played. Furthermore, monthly subscription fees will rival the prices of popular titles such as EVE Online and World of Warcraft.</text>

A text editor using the GTK2 toolkit with basic features of an integrated development environment. It was developed to provide a small and fast IDE, which has only a few dependencies from other packages. It supports many filetypes and has some nice features.
Geany is known to run under Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, MacOS X, AIX v5.3, Solaris Express and Windows. More generally, it should run on every platform, which is supported by the GTK libraries. Only the Windows port of Geany is missing some features.

Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery

Our flagship product ZAR 8.3 now includes the (freely available) mode to recover digital images. Generally, program should work with any media type (e.g. CompactFlash, MemoryStick, SmartMedia and so on) accessible by means of operating system. You need the use your camera or the appropriate card reader you normally use to transfer images from camera to PC.

Standalone Digital Image Recovery tool has been discontinued 30 December 2005. Scroll down for reasons as to why.

Current version (ZAR 8.3) supports digital photo recovery for the following file formats:

    * GIF
    * JPEG
    * TIFF
    * CRW - Canon RAW data
    * MOV, AVI movie
    * WAV - Waveform audio
    * CR2 - Canon CR2 RAW format (see notes below).
    * ORF - Olympus RAW format

For a list of compatible camera models please check Zero Assumption Digital Image Recovery system requirements.

The following information is available regarding Canon .CR2 raw format, thanks to Jeff of Jeff Berner Photography and Art:

ZA Digital Image Recovery recovers Canon .CR2 files as TIFF. To open recovered files, Jeff used Photoshop CS "Open With" feature, which allows to specify image format override.

Last.fm is an Internet radio station and music recommendation system that merged with sister site Audioscrobbler in August 2005. The system builds a detailed profile of each user's musical taste, comprising the songs played on its stations selected via a collaborative filter, or optionally, recorded by a Last.fm plugin installed into its users' music playing application. The profile is visible on a customizable web page, enhanced by limited social networking features, and can recommend and play artists similar to the user's favorites.

mIRC is a shareware Internet Relay Chat client for Windows, created in 1995 and developed by Khaled Mardam-Bey. Although it is a fully functional chat utility, its integrated scripting language makes it extensible and versatile.

mIRC is very popular, having been downloaded almost nine million times from CNET's download.com service as of March 2007. Nielsen Net Rankings also ranked mIRC among the top 10 most popular Internet applications in 2003.

The chat client is shareware, but you can still use it after 30 days.
