Some rare enhancements have been added, but no one will notice if you have them or not. It's easy to get on and play for just 30 minutes. Teams are flexible and almost any combination is workable. And best of all it's fun! The characters are a blast to play, combat is fast. Different teams handle situations differently. Each powerset allows a different playstyle from the very beginning. I'm not sure why some people don't like subscription games. For $12 a month or so, it's very cheap, even if you just play it occasionally. Recently the team has grown to be 5x as large.
