<text>Much better interface than Youtube, and feels much more oriented towards social networking. I feel like when Google acquired Youtube, it lost it's individuality, and I feel that Vimeo is all about individuality and it shows that with it's clean layout and stress on community.</text>

<description>Vimeo is a video-centric social network site. The site supports embedding, sharing, video storage, and allows user-commenting on each video page. Users must register to upload content.

Vimeo is centered on creations of the users. The disclaimer says: &quot; You can only update video's you created. 'I have permission' &#8800; 'I have created it' &quot;</description>

<text>Was using this until I got a posterous. Posterous.com pretty much allows you to do all the same, but run it from any email client, but this application still does exactly what it claims, and well. It has a completely simplistic user interface and is very well built.</text>

<text>I have yet to see any flaws about this web app. It basically allows you to upload audio files to the cloud, as well as provides a social networking aspect by allowing people to subscribe to your audio files, and they can listen to your files &amp; download them as well.</text>

<description>SoundCloud is an online music community where users can upload audio files in any common file type and size to their profile. The primary target is musicians, labels and music producers.

Soundcloud has four different types of accounts. One free, and three &quot;pro accounts&quot; ranging from 9&#8364; per month to 59&#8364; per month in cost. The free account enables access to the most common features of the site, whilst the Pro account grants access to more advanced characteristics such as detailed statistics, increased upload capacity, and the ability to receive more songs in your dropbox, etc, etc.</description>

<text>Pretty cool web app, it basically allows you to search from any search engine / services you like by providing a bunch of names like &quot;youtube&quot;, &quot;bing&quot;, google or yahoo. I will probably stick to Google / Bing's search engine. Great concept though!</text>

<text>Don't really have any complaints about critical things that needed to be added to Posterous. It is a highly polished web application that &quot;just works&quot; (as they say). The only thing I wish they had in it was ability to share your posts to google reader or mirror your posts to your google reader, as it does with Tumblr and Blogger. That aside, I believe this is a great way to post from just about any device that can email.</text>

<text>I believe that this is not only a great application on mac/windows, but I believe that this is a great company/team of programmers because they have managed to not only make versions for mac and windows, but have also ported it to the iPod touch/ iPhone platform, which allows you to take your notes with you, as well as sync over the air, so that you have your notes wherever you go, and it will update, wherever you are, mac, pc, ipod etc. Really stunning program, I just wish I could pay for the premium version, that has no ads in the bottom left hand corner and allows you to upload bigger file sizes in your notes / more formats than just images (png, jpg, etc.) and text.</text>
