Cons: Too much like Twitter. Wish they went back to 2-3 versions ago, where apps and the wall played more of a prominant role.</text>

Facebook is a social networking website launched on February 4, 2004. The free-access website is privately owned and operated by Facebook, Inc. Users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other people. People can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profile to notify friends about themselves. The website's name refers to the paper facebooks depicting members of a campus community that some US colleges and preparatory schools give to incoming students, faculty, and staff as a way to get to know other people on campus.

<text>Nice concept. Wish the interface was more streamline. Love how I can get most of my feeds all organized, though perhaps it needs to find ways to collapse info since there's so much going on. I'm using lists, and even that's not enough. LOVE IMAGINARY FRIENDS!

I wish I could import Myspace. Found it didn't work perfectly with my Xanga. I still can't figure out how to put in mini-feeds, though that may be an issue with Facebook than FF.</text>

TweetDeck is an Adobe Air desktop application that is currently in public beta. It aims to evolve the existing functionality of Twitter by taking an abundance of information (i.e twitter feeds), and breaking it down into more manageable bite sized pieces. TweetDeck enables users to split their main feed (All Tweets) into topic or group specific columns allowing a broader overview of tweets. To do this All Tweets are saved to a local database. The far left column will always contain All Tweets. The GROUP, SEARCH and REPLIES buttons then allow the user to make up additional columns populated from the database. Once created these additional columns will automatically update allowing the user to keep track of a twitter threads far easier.
