Faststone Capture has come along way, it has improved a lot.
It is a very easy to use screen capturing program and I don't know what I
would do without it.
What I don't like about FSC is the fact that you must now pay for it, which
annoyed me a lot when I heard about it. I had to search around for the earlier
'free' versions.
It still is by far the best screen capturing program, I recommend to all.
I like the fact this app is offered both as an executable and as a portable
app. Its tiny, its fast, it reads even RAW which is a plus for an app its size.
Even provides rudimentary editing. Nice.
Make sure to look for the "last freeware version" of this guy,
which is 5.3. Everything after that is shareware, which just sucks in my
opinion. Great program, been using it for a long time
It's easy to use, those who want a viewer to replace windows default one could try it. Double-click to close window is smart.
Most handy one for me! No image capture can be more easy-to-use as this. It's also very powerful, second to Hypersnap in capturing!

I've got the freeware version (5.3) - it does all you need for screen capturing.
I don't think there is anything more that I could ask from a screen capture utility to do. Simple in use and full of interesting features. I love it!

Excellent utility, with Video/screen capture and screen colour eyedropper capability.

Useful in that it's basically auto-trim for small images and auto-append for large images. Simple to use and customizable.
