Launchy! Its name says everything. People love it so much.
I have been using it for almost one year. (But wakoopa just tracked the
time as 6minutes)
Recently I'm looking for an alternative because I find it more and more
annoying that Launchy often misrecognizes my input and hints a certain item with
a long filename -- and I've found a good one, FARR. Does everything I expect it
to.
BTW, Launchy hasn't been updated for a considerable period.
Incredibly handy application. I wonder whenever I will revisit the start
menu. No need to even open it anymore! Never seen a crash of the app either.
Great software!
Just what I needed after UPgrading (:p) from vista to xp.
It's pretty much the only function I miss in xp.
I love how you barely have to pay any attention to the key combination,
and how fast it pops up. Great little tool.
This in combination with Rocketdock allows me to access hidden files, lost
files, and even search the web. THere are many skins and plugins for it too.
I need a quick way to launch putty, ssh, sftp and all the other command line
utilities in my windows laptop, launchy provide this functionality at the press
of a key, very easy to configure and use. Love it, now I hardy use the start
menu.
My keystroke launcher of choice...On Windows anyway. although the feature
list is in need of an update; other applications are starting to catch my
eye!
It's like a slim, lightweight windows version of quicksilver. The only beef
I have is that it is not as feature-rich as quicksilver in the plugins/actions
department. Still quite good.
Awesome. I go crazy when I get on a computer that doesn't have it ha. Hitting
Alt+Space over and over wondering why it's not popping up. Launchy is just
second nature to me now. Can't live without this.
Its great! All can be easily accessed and have the same performance on
windows and linux. I wish all applications running on both systems has this
quality!

Keyboard launch is far more better than any click launch for me. People will say cool if see you launch an app this way.
i love launchy! hardly have to use the start menu anymore. it is the single most useful application i use.
Mal programa...

I use it only for running programs, and it rocks!
My favorite program launcher at the moment.
