In explorer you can use the two pane tree view and drag and drop to dive in and out of the file hierarchy very easily. In finder, you have to open to windows and drag and drop between them and it's harder to zoom around the heirarchies. Explorer has annoyances that it is obviously full of hacks which cause it to block when things are happening in the file system. You can tell it to just trust certain apps but sometimes it still needs to be convinced to trust an app completely (there are advanced settings). It keeps track of the parent processes so sometimes when you upgrade and the installer launches the app, it may lose the trust settings and keep bugging you. I like how you can set it up like IP tables in linux or just select applications to trust.
