<text>At this early stage it's hard to predict the real value with Google Wave. The learning curve is steep but anything worthwhile is usually a challenge. I believe the power of this platform will come with the extensions that will most definitely be developed soon. I'm looking forward to the &quot;wisdom of the crowds&quot; to expose its power. Hopefully this will open up to everyone in the very near future.</text>

<description>A wave is a new communication platform and technology, much like e-mail is today, but so much more. Developed by Google but open-sourced, you can see the preview of this technology in action on Google's wave server, conveniently named Google Wave. It's not a social network, not a web tool, not a proprietary software; but a whole new communication device evolved from e-mail, forums, chat, social sites etc.</description>
