Changelog for version 1.9.1
More… MoreMozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 24.07% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of October 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer, which is the factory default browser on all Windows computers.
In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.
To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.
Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include Adblock Plus, Video DownloadHelper, NoScript, Personas, FlashGot, and Greasemonkey, along with many others.
Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported as of November 2009, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems.
Its current stable release branch is version 3.5, first released on June 30th, 2009. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.

most awesome broser ever but only if they get the looks right...
Firefox 3.5 default right-click context menu is not "Block Images from xxx". Become inconvenient. And has not any addons for support.
Who can tell me......................:-(
Not much you can say about something that's converted thousands from IE and Safari to this. That good.
Could not live without this. It is simply amazing and I can trick it out to do anything I want.

What can you say about a browser that came from nothing to taking major chunks of IE users away in a matter of a few short years. I WISH IT WERE FASTER in performance, but this browser does so much via add on's, extensions that I don't mind the slow downs now and then. The recent versions seem to be improving these issues, of course stability is the key to this browsers strength. Excellent, tool I use most all day everyday.
really great browser. a little slow at starting at times on windows, but otherwise the best browser you can get
I have always loved using firefox. The selection in Add Ons is next to none. In windows, firefox is a little slow, and I prefer Chrome there. But in Ubuntu, there is no other way to go.
I prefer using Safari for Mac, and Chrome is the best for Windows. Although, I have to use this application for certain things, it's manageable.
Great browser. The Addons make it brilliant. I hope it will take more marketshare so it will break Microsoft domination. It's necessary for a better online development.
