Changelog for version 3.12.0.0
More… MoreMozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 22.51% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of July 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer.
In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.
To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.
Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include Adblock Plus, Video DownloadHelper, NoScript, Personas, FlashGot, and Greasemonkey, along with many others.
Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7 RTM), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems. Its current stable release branch is version 3.5, first released on June 30th, 2009. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.

Great software. Although I've been trying out Chrome, Firefox is definitely my default browser. The plugins are unbeatable. . . the WordPress of Internet Browsing?
Amazing software with novel features. supports loads of loads formats and various scripts.., BTW Add-ons are amazing though...!
still the best browser out there, and now it nativly supports open sourced audio and video!
The best web browser ever. Period. I will NEVER go back to IE.
Firefox should be the only browser anyone uses. The addon system is awesome, and there are so many available that can do pretty much anything you want the browser to do for you.
It's faster than IE (when it comes to loading pages), but I've heard it's slower than Opera (I've never used it and I'm not particularly interested in it from what I've read). Chrome is pointless, and I would never use Safari because Apple is totally inept when it comes to writing PC applications.
It seems to take a while to load, but it's probably because of how many addons and bookmarks I have. Loading is much snappier right after install.
Long live Firefox!
I can't find anything wrong with it. Everything is of perfection.
Great web browser!
I love it. I can customize & feel safer using it over other browsers. I just wish that it wouldn't crash when I load up certain media in a background tab.
It's relatively the best web browser out there, especially if you use tomes of add-ons written for it. The downside is it's lust for your computer resources. With a few tabs containing some flash movies and after a few hours of browsing it ends up consuming several hundred megabytes of your ram and over 50% of cpu! They just like to add more features in new version and never get to solve this essential problem.
