It's not just the speed of the browser, but how you interact with it. I save so much time.
I have been using chrome for a while now and I think it is fantastic. Since I don't use many extentions with my web browsers, the fact that the current release not supporting extentions doesn't phase me. It's fast and the fact you can turn websites like Gmail into desktop apps is amazing.
The fastest browser I have ever used. And the extensions on the Dev version make it even better.
After using Opera and FF (with hundreds possible add-ons and plugins)for many years - what a relief - Chrome! It really WORKS !!!! (Only K-Meleon seems to be a rival) CHROME! (and CHROMIUM!)
Fast but customization is limited and it lacks add-ons.
Perfect for normal people, nice for geeks.
The extension sucks, and the proxy setting, too. Google Chrome has a long way to go.
Wow, now that Chrome has extensions I might toss Firefox aside after 5-6 years.
Still waiting for offical extensions (although I am using several with no probs in the dev version)
Quick and light, and since I lack the need for anything truly heavy I'm quite happy with it as is. The tab to search function is unique and useful, and all I really miss after switching from Firebox is my StumbleUpon toolbar.
