The program is also an interface to manage the contents on Apple's popular iPod digital media players. it's simply the best for iPod!
iTunes 1.0 is just awesome!
I know a lot of people LOVE itunes and cant understand the haters, but I HATE it. Its slow, on a branfd new Sony VAio wih windows7 and 9.0.2 its interface for music is horrible, and almost impossible to work out whats sync and whast not. I want folder view which seems impossible, we dont have a choice I know cos apple lock out everyone else so Im stuck. but doesnt mean I have to like it. Im going to fix its shortcomings with add ons if I can - first off the rank will be TuneUp to get all the album art itunes inexplicably misses. In summary apple have a monoployy and they dont care !
