A brilliant program for something that's free and a very good rival for Microsoft Office. However, it doesn't seem to have all the features that MS Office does. Plus, when a taxing task is being run on it in Linux, it's prone to freezing. Finally, the interface is very clunky: more office XP as opposed to 2007/2010.
It has all features I need. Nothing less. Yes, MS Office has more features and looks fancier, perhaps works even better. But it does not support Linux. Period.
Although I admire it for being an open source tool, but still it has to go a long way before it is compared to microsoftoffice.
très bonne suite bureautique qui est encore a parfaire surtout au niveau de l'interface mais qui remplace bien office ! au niveau des formats de fichier les dernières versions sont complètement compatibles avec office 2007 et inversement !
I have used OO off and on for more than 6 years now, and watched the growth. My company uses it now, and I wish we could fully acclimate it. we seem to still be toying with it. It is very good software though sometimes clunky on some machines. I am not a fan of the MS office like commands, and wish I could get on board with it completely. I miss Lotus 123.
Works fantastic, especially now that it has DOCX compatibility, the only thing I would like to see is something to the likes of OneNote
This got to b better!
Why the heck would you pay money to download MS Office or Star Office when you can get this for free?!? I mean seriously!
This is why I don't need no stinkin' MS Office :)
Best word processor.
