A great cross-platform IM client with support for multiple protocols. I've noticed a few bugs and the interface could be improved but in spite of that, it's the only client I use.

Pidgin is a very good Instant Messaging program. Pidgin Combines virtually all IM accounts in to one program. It sports a very clean interface.
The Best Linux IM, but I use only Gtalk and MSN :/. It's Good!
