One of the best free browsers there is, in par with Chrome and Firefox. Fast and simple, Safari is like a speedy Firefox without all the add-ons.
Works perfect for me. The only browser on Mac OS X that looks and feels natively. Don't need too much developer/plugin stuff, though.
Tends to lack features I am used to use with Firefox
Google Chrome, Apple Safari actually does not display the "Image Attribute".
"Input File" also with other Browser not the same.
"11px Font" is not supported by the following.
In some places, and Google Chrome not the same.
Nice to look at, nice and fast and using a custom WebKit build gives me a lot more options :)
Seemly integration with Mac OS X
Most defintely the best browser for mac.
its very fast and reliable. uncluttered. didn't use all those add ons in firfox, and safari has most of that stuff built in.
My favorite web browser! On occasion, I tried using a different browser, but I always ended up coming back to Safari
I love all things Apple and Mac, but this is sadly my least favorite app.
While it is the most compliant browser, and by far the fastest I've used, it just has silly quirks that keep me from using it as my main browser. I don't know why everyone doesn't allow you to view RSS feeds like FireFox -- where they are just drop downs from the bookmarks bar.
The Top Sites feature is probably the least sensible feature I've ever seen in any app. It should be more similar to Expose, where your favorite sites are open already, and you can use Top Sites to quickly switch between them -- like separate tabs or windows. As it is now, it is simply a collection of bookmars that have really big icons.
The coolest feature of Safari is the Web Inspector. You can explore code, page elements, flash movies, etc....
Otherwise, Safari is the most disappointing piece of software on my computer.
