Nothing but one of the most top VoIP-softwares around. Sound quality is good, chat-system is not so good but this program is mainly for calls anyways.

Skype is a very useful tool, but they need to work on their customer service and how they credit or keep credits from their clients. AFTER SEVERAL MONTHS OF NON USAGE, I was informed that I would lose my credits $$. And while it was not a large sum, it concerned me, that lack of use warranted them to just keep my money with no recourse. Yes, I went to the site several times on their suggestion to make a call in order to keep my credits, and for whatever reason this seemed not to work. I disagree with their practices on this in General.
uninstalling my Skype services for now and do not recommend.
Best software to keep me touch with friends and relatives in my native country. But Skype's Linux version really need to update.
Great for what it does - but there are bugs - and an app this mature shouldn't have bugs.
By far not the best IM service but it does a decent job and looks good. I mainly use it for communication at work. The contact list could be tweaked a little on the Mac OS X version of the program.
Great software. I use it for communicating with most of my clients, and any development teams + co-workers. Functionality can't be beat for the price of Free.

I like this software. I can call my friend from America with this one. But, It's so slow.
skypes got some ok features and it performs ok the interface is nasty it needs to be re done and re thunk out imo file sharing can be ober slow like in msn but it has to nice things sending files while appearing offline and being able to send more than one thing at time
