Changelog for version 2.0b4
More
… MoreThe Unarchiver is a much more capable replacement for "BOMArchiveHelper.app", the built-in archive unpacker program in Mac OS X. The Unarchiver is designed to handle many more formats than BOMArchiveHelper, and to better fit in with the design of the Finder. It can also handle filenames in foreign character sets, created with non-English versions of other operating systems. I personally find it useful for opening Japanese archives, but it should handle many other languages just as well.

Que mas se puede pedir Gratis, sin una interfaz que moleste a la vista, se podría decir que da la sensación de que se integra en el propio sistema, con un gran rendimiento, altamente recomendado.
Uncompresses all formats I need. It works even better than original Archive Utility for zip files. Original Archive Utility have poor support of non-latin encoding filenames. And this app works just fine.
But sometimes I only need to look what files are in archive. This app doesn't support this feature.
free, easy, run it, associate with archives, forget about it.. easy ..
Does what it should, humbly and quietly.
Удобный, быстрый, ничего лишнего.
Well, it's hard to argue with an unzip application that unzips properly. But honestly, the interface sucks and lack of features really make this a pain to use. As a long time PC user, I got used to the flexibility and simplicity of 7-zip and wish I had it on the Mac. : (
Quick and free!
Just works.
The perfect file extracter on OS X... if it had password support. Still it's my #1 used app for extracting archives
a superb tool for simple unpacking operations. but still lacks password protected file support :/
