Changelog for version 4.0.0.66
More… MoreTrillian is a fully featured, stand-alone, skinnable chat client that supports AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and IRC. It provides capabilities not possible with original network clients, while supporting standard features such as audio chat, file transfers, group chats, chat rooms, buddy icons, multiple simultaneous connections to the same network, server-side contact importing, typing notification, direct connection (AIM), proxy support, encrypted messaging (AIM/ICQ), SMS support, and privacy settings.
Trillian provides unique functionality such as contact message history, a powerful skinning language, tabbed messaging, global status changes (set all networks away at once), Instant Lookup (automatic Wikipedia integration), contact alerts, an advanced automation system to trigger events based on anything happening in the client, docking, hundreds of emoticons, emotisounds, shell extensions for file transfers, and systray notifications.
The forthcoming Trillian Astra supports Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter integration including chat.

Not good for me.
absolutely love the emoticons and the skins!
Best multi IM eva!!!
Interesting multiple IM client.
much better IM..
Trillian is a very nice program that has kept up to date fairly well with technology IMO. It solves the problem of having a bunch of messengers open using up resources and doesn't have the bloatware that some programs bring a long with them.
I've been a fan of Trillian for a really long time. It's gotten better with every release. Trillian Astra offers integration with Facebook chat and Twitter in additional to the usual IM suspects. Fun emoticons.
Overtime, the features have been piling. I'm running Trillian 4.0 aka Astra and it's a great jump from 3.0. With a brand new interface, twitter, facebook, and skype integrations give it an upper hand compared to it's closest competitors like Digsby.
On the free version, the inability to change themes and colors of the interface renders it almost boring to use. Digsby, which is completely free, allows users to get any compatible theme and be used with program.
Trillian overall is a great all-in-one IM client, there are a few shortcomings for the free version which are covered with the $30 purchase of the Pro version.
use it with icq, nice!
