Well I don't use those. Why should I have to suffer with a fake icon I don't know?
Note that the latest version is not WMP 10, but WMP 12 (for Windows 7) and WMP11 (for XP & Vista).

I mean, really, the current offical icon should be used. Not some fake icon for an older version of WMP. Unless you can prove that that icon was used in an offical version of the product, please keep this as is (unless a new version with a new icon is released).
To "casemods": Why use the classic one? Check out Visual Studio. That's using the modern (not even released yet) rendition of the icon. If we had it your way, that page would still be using the VS6 icon.
Again, what about Firefox? That page is using the modern (version 3.5) rendition of the icon, not the "classic" version.
the classic icon looks butt who cares i thats what the noobs want also triplexXx are that much of a noob wmp comes with windows wmp12 atm is windows 7 only so if you dont have win 7 your sol wmp11 is for vista and xp

I use this, it's more better than iTunes, what crashes everytime. The best player I have seen thus far.
