<text>This is a great social networking site with a mature tone about it. This site does not seem nearly as "teenie" as MySpace or other rivals. This site offers great social tools, mobile tools, fun apps, groups, fan pages, filters, blocking options and more. It gets a 5/5 from me.</text>

Facebook is a social networking website launched on February 4, 2004. The free-access website is privately owned and operated by Facebook, Inc. Users can join networks organized by city, workplace, school, and region to connect and interact with other people. People can also add friends and send them messages, and update their personal profile to notify friends about themselves. The website's name refers to the paper facebooks depicting members of a campus community that some US colleges and preparatory schools give to incoming students, faculty, and staff as a way to get to know other people on campus.

Wget is a network utility to retrieve files from the Web
using http(s) and ftp, the two most widely used Internet
protocols. It works non-interactively, so it will work in
the background, after having logged off. The program supports
recursive retrieval of web-authoring pages as well as ftp
sites -- you can use wget to make mirrors of archives and
home pages or to travel the Web like a WWW robot.

Wi-Fi Radar is very helpful for more detailed site surveys; also iwconfig, iwlist, and ifconfig are all useful tools.</text>

mIRC is a shareware Internet Relay Chat client for Windows, created in 1995 and developed by Khaled Mardam-Bey. Although it is a fully functional chat utility, its integrated scripting language makes it extensible and versatile.

mIRC is very popular, having been downloaded almost nine million times from CNET's download.com service as of March 2007. Nielsen Net Rankings also ranked mIRC among the top 10 most popular Internet applications in 2003.

The chat client is shareware, but you can still use it after 30 days.

Nautilus is the official file manager for the GNOME desktop. Browse directories, preview files and launch applications associated with them. Is responsible for handling the icons on the GNOME desktop. It works on local and remote filesystems.

Several icon themes and components for viewing different kinds of files are available in separate packages.
With tabbed file browsing it makes for a simple file manager with minimal windows cluttering your desktop space.
