70190 0 Avast! (free version) works without problems on my WinXP. It's an efficient and no-nonsense app. Can't say if it's the best anti-virus app or not since I've used this one for a long time. One thing I would like changed is when you let it check a hard drive for viruses it stops and ask 'what u wanna do?' each time it finds something. Quite annoying really.
