Problem solved:
Thank you for your email to Avira's virus lab.
Tracking number: INC00256881.
The file 'Wakoopa Tracker Setup 1.0.7.exe' has been determined to be 'FALSE POSITIVE'. In particular this means that this file is not malicious but a false alarm. Detection will be removed from our virus definition file (VDF) with one of the next updates.
Funny thing is, the installer is detected as a trojan but once installed, the wakoopa tracker executable is not flagged as malicious.
Same problem with Avira (TR/Zlob.47892). Last time I had this problem I submitted the file to Avira for analysis and they fixed it in the next update. I just sent Wakoopa 1.0.7.exe to them now.
Hey. I had the TR/Zlob report too (but only after installing the most recent Avira update), your review on here is the top result on Google for TR/Zlob Wakoppa :P
I uploaded the setup program to VirusTotal and got these positives:
--AntiVir 7.9.0.60 2009.01.29 TR/Zlob.47892
--BitDefender 7.2 2009.01.29 Trojan.Zlob.47892
--GData 19 2009.01.29 Trojan.Zlob.47892
--K7AntiVirus 7.10.609 2009.01.29 Trojan-Downloader.Win32.Zlob.aqjw
--SecureWeb-Gateway 6.7.6 2009.01.29 Trojan.Zlob.47892
--TheHacker 6.3.1.5.232 2009.01.29 Trojan/Downloader.Zlob.anta
Yep, also getting the TR/Zlob.47892 alert for the Wakoopa Tracker Setup 1.0.7.
Same prob with the tracker and Avira AV.
