<text>This is among the first pieces of software I install in OS X. It's a must-have for obsessive Gmail users. One of it's coolest features is to redirect all mailto: traffic into a new composition window. For that alone, it's worth the install.</text>

Both Amazon CloudFront and Cloud Files from Rackspace can be easily configured to distribute your content in the cloud. Many OS X core system technologies such as Spotlight, Bonjour and the Keychain are supported and a large number of translations makes you feel at home.

Cyberduck is a open source product licensed under the GPL and free to use. Donations are welcome to help advance development in the future. Thanks to contributors, Cyberduck is available in English, Japanese, German, Catalan, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Czech, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, French, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Korean, Norwegian, Portuguese, Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Russian, and Polish.</description>

<text>I hate it when this pops open instead of TextMate, etc.... but this sucker sure does come in handy where those aren't available. It's hard to insult the OS supplied text editor because it certainly gets the job done... but it's a far cry from those supplied by third parties.</text>

<text>Wonderful media player! I use this for just about everything. There's nothing I've thrown at it that it can't play back in some fashion (better than Quicktime). However, I wish someone would really work on the interface... it feels a little out of date and is the only thing holding this back from being a AAA application... as of now it stands in the slightly lower tier of &quot;simply can't live without it&quot; and that's certainly not a bad thing.</text>

<text>I use this as a tool in the creation of some of my conceptual art. It's interface is pretty easy to pick up on but has a couple of confusing flaws (it's difficult to navigate around a zoomed image). Since I purposely use the software to create jagged, abstracted images, I can't speak to its results for intended use (smooth morphing)... but it does the job and I can't do this sort of art without it. Thanks, Creaceed!</text>

<description>Morph Age is an application for morphing/warping images and movies on Mac OS X, such as faces, and save the result to a QuickTime movie.

Morph Age works by allowing you to define curves on one or more images. Any change made on the curves is reflected on the resulting image through the corresponding distortion and morphing effect. Morph Age can also work from QuickTime movies as curves can be animated with keyframed motion. One talking face can be morphed into another talking face as they are talking!</description>

<text>Textmate is simply the slickest text editor for the Mac... though it is a little pricey compared to some equally great freeware found on Windows and Linux. Yet, the same type of freeware on Mac can't hold a candle to Textmate (making it well worth the investment). It's interface can be a little confusing at first... gathering files into a tabbed interface took me a few minutes to unravel, for instance... yet it's not big qualm. Kudos, Textmate!</text>

<description>TextMate is a general-purpose GUI text editor for Mac OS X.
It provides users with innovative abstractions to support declarative customizations which are at once transparent and flexible. Though its users are mostly programmers, and its basic feature set has a steeper learning curve than simpler graphical editors, TextMate is much easier to customize than many other text editors. Notable features include tabs, recordable macros, folding sections and snippets, shell integration, and an extensible bundle system, all built around its novel scope system.

TextMate 1.5 won the Apple Design Award for best developer tool in 2006.</description>

<description>&#181;Torrent (also microTorrent or uTorrent) is a freeware proprietary BitTorrent client for Microsoft Windows &amp; Mac OS X written in C++, and localized for many different languages. It can also be used under Linux based systems, via Wine. It's designed to use minimal computer resources - typically using less than 6MB of memory, allowing you to use the computer as if it weren't there at all. Additionally, the program itself is contained within a single executable less than 220 KB in size - while offering functionality comparable to clients such as Azureus or BitComet.
You can subscribe tracker's feeds and get new torrents via the feed and download them automatically.</description>

<text>VueScan has become an integral part of my routine. Where I find the manufacturer's bundled software to fail (which is often) VueScan patches up the gap. Unlike other commercial scanning software, VueScan allows the use of scanners from different manufacturers without purchasing another license (I'm looking at you, SilverFast!). An area in which VueScan truly shines is in its powerful, detailed settings. I often find myself limited with the bundled offerings, as if the manufacturer is attempting to &quot;protect me from myself&quot;. VueScan allows the manual override of such &quot;easy&quot; features and has allowed me to accomplish much more than I would have been able to otherwise.</text>

<text>This is the reporting half (paired with an addon) of a client for World of Warcraft to help build the wowhead.com database. It allows those of us who utilize the information from this site to give a little back... to contribute mob locations, loot, etc.. In my experience, there is no noticeable performance hit on Warcraft while running the addon.</text>
