Preview is Mac OS X's application for displaying images and Portable Document Format (PDF) documents. Like OS X itself, it comes from NeXT's OPENSTEP operating system. Preview employs Apple's implementation of Adobe's PDF specification, and heavily uses Apple's Cocoa graphical user interface, Quartz graphics layer, and QuickTime image codec.

It’s a browser. It’s a platform. It’s an open invitation to innovate. Whether on a Mac, PC, iPhone, or iPod touch, Safari continuously redefines the browser, providing the most enjoyable way to experience the Internet.
version 4 has recently been released. Works perfectly with Microsoft Windows 7

<text>Better than any other mail app, BUT for me Mail 2.0 (Tiger) crashes regularly. Without HawkWings.net to help, it would be hopeless unstable, but now I can live with its occasional crashes. "A" for UI prettiness, "C" for reliability. Hope Leopard's ver 3.0 better.</text>

Mail (aka Mail.app or Apple Mail) is an e-mail program included with Apple Inc.'s Mac OS X operating system. Originally developed by NeXT as NeXTMail, a part of their Nextstep operating system, it was adapted, following Apple's acquisition of NeXT, to become OS X's Mail application. Mail uses the SMTP, POP3, and IMAP protocols, and supports MobileMe and Exchange via IMAP. Both the iPhone and the iPod touch feature a mobile version of Apple Mail.

<text>Automator v1.0.4 is the most disappointing utility Apple does. It teases you with system automation, but 90% of the time the script you write can't be made to run, there is no answer why it fails, or you have to resort to AppleScript, which is equally bad and which you wanted to avoid in the 1st place. Hope Leopard's ver 2.0 is overhauled.</text>
