<text>I'm using iTunes on a Mac and it's pretty much the only capable player I could find for this platform. I'm happy with the interface, which is responsive and convenient, although the Cover Flow view gets slow when I have a lot of cover art. I'm not using most of the features it offers but I miss some from other audio players (like Amarok and Winamp that I had been using previously) like Enqueue and automatic adding of new tracks in my music folder to the Music Library. Sadly, iTunes only integrates with the iPod and iPhone, which I don't (and don't want to) have and it's useless for my Sony Ericsson Walkman phone.
I can say iTunes is a good alternative, but it can be further improved if Apple wishes to do so.</text>

<description>iTunes is a digital media player application introduced by Apple in 2001 at Macworld Expo in San Francisco for playing and organizing digital music and video files. The program is also an interface to manage the contents on Apple's popular iPod digital media players. Additionally, iTunes can connect to the iTunes Store (provided an internet connection is present) in order to download purchased digital music, music videos, television shows, iPod games, audiobooks, various podcasts, and feature length films. </description>
