Microsoft Outlook or Outlook is a personal information manager from Microsoft, and is part of the Microsoft Office suite.

Although often used mainly as an e-mail application, it also provides a calendar, task and contact management, note taking, a journal and web browsing.

It can be used as a stand-alone application, but can also operate in conjunction with Microsoft Exchange Server and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server to provide enhanced functions for multiple users in an organization, such as shared mailboxes and calendars, Exchange public folders, Sharepoint lists and meeting time allocation.

Angry IP scanner is a very fast IP scanner and port scanner. It can scan IP addresses in any range as well as any their ports. Its binary file size is very small compared to other IP or port scanners. Angry IP scanner simply pings each IP address to check if it's alive, then optionally it is resolving its hostname, determines the MAC address, scans ports, etc. The amount of gathered data about each host can be extended with the available plugins.

Vinagre is a VNC client for the GNOME desktop environment. It was included in GNOME 2.22. It has several features, like the ability to connect to multiple servers simultaneously and switch between them by tabs, VNC servers browsing and bookmarking. However, it lacks other features existing in other VNC clients, such as controlling frame compression, color depth and frame rate.

Since Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron) was released, Vinagre has been included in the default installation as the official VNC client for Ubuntu.

It is reported that the next version of Vinagre, which is to be included with GNOME 2.26 will add the ability to use the Remote Desktop Protocol. This will allow connections to Microsoft-based machines that have remote desktop sharing enabled.
