Wakoopa tracks the digital lives of today's consumers. Mobile internet usage is growing exponentially and is becoming a central piece in the daily lives of many people. Smartphones running iOS and Android are common property and the word “app” is not reserved for the techies anymore. Wakoopa is working on gaining insight into this shift, just as we are doing with desktop internet usage. This is why we are looking for a resourceful mobile engineer, preferably with some experience with both iOS or Android, or at least the capacity and determination to pick up platforms like these quickly.
You will be part of an important and challenging new project within Wakoopa. Building something from the ground up, you’ll be in constant contact with the rest of the engineers and our sales team. You will be working from the heart of Amsterdam in an awesome environment with like-minded people and the latest technology.
Excellent! Please get in touch.
We’re a young Dutch company looking for talented developers who are up for a challenge. Our company tracks the digital lives of today's consumers. Thousands of participants in research have installed our desktop tracker on their computer. We service several well-known clients such as TNS or Wired Magazine, and let them know what their target audience is up to. The amount of data we collect is growing every minute and we're looking for people that can help us make that data even more useful. Yes, that's you.
Together with a team of six people you'll take on complex technical challenges and turn them into a product your mother would be proud of. You'll structure many of the things you do yourself and will also be in direct contact with your colleagues in sales and design. For example, some days you're hacking away at a database with over 500 million rows of data. On another day you'll try to think of a way to release a new data visualization feature that users will love.
You've got at least 3 years of experience in web development. You have a crush on Ruby... and you think it's mutual. You love creating tests. You have a healthy dose of empathy. You know your way around MySQL (or NoSQL), SVN or git, and the command line. You're somewhat of an all-rounder. You read a lot about other peoples' work. You've contributed to an open-source project. You're (planning to be) based in Holland. Je kunt deze Nederlandse zin lezen (but non-Dutch speakers are also welcome).
Awesome! Be sure to get in touch.
As a young company, we're looking for sales talent that can grow with us. Our company measures the digital lives of today's consumers, thanks to desktop tracker. It starts with participants in research, who install that tracker on their computer. An organization that conducts research can track what websites are being visited in certain markets and segments via an online dashboard, called QD. This technology is currently being used inside panels of TNS, Synovate and Wired Magazine. This group of clients and potential new clients is expanding rapidly, and that's where you come in.
You'll structure many of the things you do yourself, but your list of responsibilities would look something like this. Together with a team of six people you'll talk to new international organizations and develop a clear strategy. You'll work together with our CEO and product manager to offer the product that helps clients do great things. You'll also help build our sales team and strategy, and will make yourself essential in growing our revenue and customer base. One day you're on the road to clients or conferences. The next, you're sitting down with the team, sketching our new functionality.
Training is not the most important thing. Show us what you've done in the past, and how you transformed ideas into income. We really value independence, ambition and good communication skills. Experience with SaaS products is welcome. All-round skills in account management and marketing are also key.
That's great! Please get in touch.
We're always looking for talented developers or designers. So don't be shy, get in touch.
