Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 24.07% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of October 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer, which is the factory default browser on all Windows computers. In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.
