Ya, the uTorrent for mac beta was released fairly recently. Sometime within the last few months for sure.
As far as having an alarm type thing... try this: http://www.robbiehanson.com/alarmclock/index.html
I just started using it myself so I'm not too familiar with all of its functions yet but it's free, so that's always a bonus!
I read Jonna's blog regularly. She generally posts some good stuff.
Oh, and I read Jonna's blog fairly regularly.
Well, those aren't bad applications. Instead of Vuze, I use the new uTorrent for Mac beta. I used uTorrent on Windows and I was always impressed with its simple interface and for getting the job done. I don't really have much use for an FTP client, but I'll keep Transmit in mind if I ever do. That's the great thing about Wakoopa. You can see what's good and what other people are using just by searching! Boxee looks like it has promise. Problem is I live outside the US right now so I probably wouldn't be able access most of the content. Plus, my MBP is a 2007 model. It's getting on in years and the review says Boxee dumps the full decoding load on the CPU. As for Adium, it was one of the first programs I installed. I discovered it while finding a good all-in-one for Windows (wound up using Digsby).
Uh. Your message was kinda gay, but I figured I'd drop in and say hello anyways. I was curious to know if you know Jonna Wibelius. I see you're using a Mac. I was using mine in Bootcamp for almost a year... running XP. Now I'm using OSX again and trying to figure out what programs are good to use. Safari 4 Beta is good. REALLY fast. I just miss the add-ons from Firefox. I've found a few replacements though.
hey there! it's nowhere near yet finished but I am doing it for free, it's for somebody I know. About 5 years ago they paid 100's for the piece of cr*p they currently have and they are also paying the same people to host it. So I said that I would make them a new one.
