I never tried iTunes. I never found a program wich has the functionallity by wich u can play a folder, or enqueue a folder just by right clicking on it in explorer.
Thereby I only play MP3's from my harddisk, never CD's.
I never use a visualizer nor a remote control function.
Everyone just decides for himself. Some people like WinAmp, more like iTunes.
I keep it with WinAmp, I love it.

ok, i tried WinAmp again. i downloaded the most recent version (5.51). with the installation it asked me which skin i wanted to use, WinAmp programmers still can not make up their minds (don't give me crap about choice, there just should be a decent standard interface!!! the classic skin loks like it got stuck in 1982!!!). then songs don't crossfade smoothly and i couldn't get it to play a CD without the 2 second interval, no continuous mode. the visualizer always crashed to the taskbar. remote control failed numerous attempts(beta is no excuse for such poor performance). conclusion: comparing iTunes to WinAmp is like comparing Photoshop to the GIMP!!! no competition for iTunes!
Winamp 5, using the classic skin is the best!!!
