<text>While there are free alternatives, none of them have iPhone apps that sync with the desktop app (and if they did, they don't do it this well). I use 1Password so that no matter which browser I'm using today, I have all my passwords there. I can use Firefox, Minefield (firefox testing builds), Camino, Safari, and some other browsers and keep my passwords. I can also autofill my address and credit card info! I like using 1Password.</text>

<description>The Unarchiver is a free data compression utility, which supports more formats than BOMArchiveHelper, the built-in archive unpacker program in Mac OS X. It can also handle filenames in foreign character sets, created with non-English versions of other operating systems.</description>

<text>Almost perfect, but the method it uses for updates that don't work or that it can't easily figure out is annoying (it tells you where it dropped the update files individually, instead of maybe setting up a folder on the desktop). And there's no way to tell it &quot;yes, this software (such as iFreeMem or MacLive) is up to date, the programmer forgot to update the version field in-app&quot;, which leads to repeat updates if you use the update all feature.</text>

<text>it's pretty good but the log viewing is awful if you chat more than once in forever, it's really poorly done and lags a lot, and even worse the logs have to be opened by the poorly made log viewer so it is slow

searching logs is no better, imagine all the chat you've ever done in one channel (which could be miles long) and you have to search all that as if it were a mile long textedit document</text>
