<text>There are plugins to compare word and excel documents with winmerge, but not for html documents: winmerge only compares them as source files.

Does anyone know of a plugin for winmerge or a good tool to compare html documents please?

Edit: actually HtmlDiff by Component Software seems to work quite well... :) (but also seems shareware.)

<text>Slow and buggy* software, but sadly there's no alternative afaik.

*the bug is: by default the top button on the left hand side of the mouse does page *down*, and the bottom one does page *up*.
When I try to swap their function with this software, it sometimes works (after several changes), but sometimes not.

(I use it to set up a 7 button usb mouse on a dell latitude notebook.

<text>Powerpro saved my ass today: I had hidden (minimize to tray with taskswitch xp pro) a chrome window, and this window started beeping, meaning I was getting im messages, but I couldn't unhide it and the tray icon was gone!!!

The window was listed in chromium's task manager, but hidden, how frustrating!
I tried many tools (eg: process explorer by sysinternals), killing explorer.exe, without success, until I remembered powerpro!

I quickly built a nice bar to show me hidden windows, there was my window, right-click to show, and yes it appeared!

Thank you Bruce!!! :) :) :)</text>

Yes, powerpro is very good -may the gods bless its developer-, however I switched to autohotkey, as it is more popular nowadays, and powerpro couldn't to some things I wanted iirc.
