<description>In Audiosurf, you race down a futuristic and colorful highway. The highway, the traffic patterns, and the scenery are all synchronized to the music you have chosen from your own collection. You earn points for clustering together cars of the same color on the highway, and can compete with others on the internet for the high score on your favorite songs.
This application was the first to use the Steamworks distribution platform created by Steam, and has won many awards for it's amazing and innovative gameplay.</description>

<text>great for web development, and easy to use. in Opera just smash alt+ctrl+shift+u then you can validate the current page. handy indeed.

Now all we need is for the majority of people to stop using IE6.... a 100% validating website doesn't necessarily mean it will show correctly across all browsers.</text>

<text>very handy to have around, perhaps not enough features for a designer.. although if you do require more it does have a lot of user made tutorials and plugins to do some quite nice effects.

<text>As smnbss says it is handy for developing with people not in the same room. Kind of fun to have running when they are in the same room as you as well though, just because you don't need to be manually prompted when someone updates (say) an external api.

Could do with more options, especially when adding a new url to watch. A repo browser. Or at least remember my username. Fine once you get going, but it means that I spent about 30 minutes wondering if it is worth it whilst I was getting everything set up.</text>

<description>Notepad++ is a free, open source (GPL) source code editor which supports several programming languages running under the Microsoft Windows environment. Notepad++ is hosted on SourceForge.net, from where it has been downloaded over eight million times.

Notepad++ supports syntax highlighting for 44 programming, scripting, and markup languages. Users can also define their own language by using the built-in User Language Define System, which makes Notepad++ extendable, to have syntax highlighting and syntax folding.

This project, based on the Scintilla editor component, is written in C++ with pure Win32 API calls and uses STL. Notepad++ is licensed under the GPL Licence. The aim of Notepad++ is to offer a slim and efficient binary with a totally customizable GUI.

Notepad++ is available only for the Microsoft Windows operating system. However, users can still get Notepad++ to work on other platforms, like Linux and Mac OS X, using software such as Wine.</description>
