Tweetie for the Mac presents a compact window for reading and posting tweets, replies and mentions, direct messages, and searching the entire Twitter network. It's fully integrated with multiple URL shortening services, image services and even supports video tweets! The program supports multiple accounts and most operations, like creating a new tweet, switching between timelines, threading and more.. All easily accessible via keyboard shortcuts.

<text>I wish I wrote this review a year ago, it would have been five stars all around. However recently Twitterrific has been falling behind on features compared to other Twitter clients. You can't follow/unfollow, there is no shortcut to RT, you can't list only your DM's or @'s,... Its missing a lot. Its not all bad though, it is one of the few OSX native Twitter clients out there, I hate having to run Adobe Air to use TweetDeck. If you are a Twitterrific dev I want to come back just give me the features I desire. </text>

Xcode is Apple's suite of tools for developing software on Mac OS X. Is bundled free with Mac OS X, though is not installed by default. The latest version is always available for free from Apple Developer Connection.
The main application of the suite is the integrated development environment (IDE), also named Xcode. The Xcode suite also includes most of Apple's developer documentation, and Interface Builder, an application used to construct graphical interfaces.
The Xcode suite includes the free software GNU Compiler Collection (GCC), and can compile C, C++, Objective-C, Objective-C++, Java, and AppleScript, source code with a variety of programming models, including but not limited to Cocoa, Carbon, and Java. Third parties have added support for GNU Pascal,[2] Free Pascal[3], Ada[4] and Perl[5]. The Xcode suite uses GDB as the back-end for its debugger.

Mozilla Firefox is a free and open source web browser descended from the Mozilla Application Suite, managed by the Mozilla Corporation. Firefox had 24.07% of the recorded usage share of web browsers as of October 2009, making it the second-most popular browser worldwide, after Internet Explorer, which is the factory default browser on all Windows computers.

In 5 months, Firefox has gathered steam and now owns more than 25% of usage share of web browsers closing the gap between it and IE.

To display web pages, Firefox uses the Gecko layout engine, which implements some current web standards plus a few features which are intended to anticipate likely additions to the standards.

Firefox includes tabbed browsing, a spell checker, incremental find, live bookmarking, a download manager, and an integrated search system that uses the user's desired search engine. Functions can be added through add-ons created by third-party developers, the most popular of which include Adblock Plus, Video DownloadHelper, NoScript, Personas, FlashGot, and Greasemonkey, along with many others.

Firefox runs on various versions of Microsoft Windows (version 3.5 supports Windows Vista and XP; although not officially supported as of November 2009, Firefox is compatible with Windows 7), Mac OS X (10.4 or later officially supported), most Linux distributions, and many other Unix-like operating systems.

Its current stable release branch is version 3.5, first released on June 30th, 2009. Firefox's source code is free software, released under a tri-license of GPL/LGPL/MPL.

TextMate is a general-purpose GUI text editor for Mac OS X.
It provides users with innovative abstractions to support declarative customizations which are at once transparent and flexible. Though its users are mostly programmers, and its basic feature set has a steeper learning curve than simpler graphical editors, TextMate is much easier to customize than many other text editors. Notable features include tabs, recordable macros, folding sections and snippets, shell integration, and an extensible bundle system, all built around its novel scope system.

TextMate 1.5 won the Apple Design Award for best developer tool in 2006.
