A wave is a new communication platform and technology, much like e-mail is today, but so much more. Developed by Google but open-sourced, you can see the preview of this technology in action on Google's wave server, conveniently named Google Wave. It's not a social network, not a web tool, not a proprietary software; but a whole new communication device evolved from e-mail, forums, chat, social sites etc.

<text>This music player is very simple, jet versatile and powerful. What I like most about it, is that it allows you to easily organize and structure your music collection the way you want it. You can edit multiple tags of many songs at once based on their filenames and paths (or the other way around). Also the powerful search function allows you to search for almost anything you want using not only song-tags, but also data like play count or file type.
Another nice feature is that the interface has a lot of different views so you can display your library in whatever way you want.
It has not as many features as, for example, Amarok, but it works with plugins which grants all the capabilities most people would need.
Finally and best of all: It is free!</text>

Quod Libet is a music management program. It provides several different ways
to view your audio library, as well as support for Internet radio and
audio feeds. It has extremely flexible metadata tag editing and searching
capabilities, using the same interface as Ex Falso.
